![]() ![]() To wrap things up, yes the game is not a milsim, as many would claim. It's pretty barebones compared to Squad, yes, but I think that's actually a good thing because it leaves more room for creativity and tactics rather than this vehicle/weapon is better than this one even a tiny recon vehicle in good hands can deal a lot of damage. ![]() You can be the best marksman around but considering that you're playing against 50 people and you have to work together with other 49 players on the team really makes this game good. Teams that think not just one but few steps ahead of opposition get the upper hand and that's where there game shines in my opinion. You'd be surprised how many players are incapable of doing so. Usually requires a few steps at best like:Īnd that pretty much sums up the effort it takes to do the most tasks within the game. Albeit the game requires teamwork to win, the amount of it is quite minimal. A coordinated team wins more rounds than the one that doesn't listen. The game has low TTK that's true, but it takes more map knowledge and muscle memory than actual "skill" to be good at the game. If you want bigger maps, more toys to play with, and actually affect the outcome of the game with tactics and not just simply killing the opposition then HLL is for you.Īlso, this "hardcore" buzzword is probably coming from people that haven't played anything beyond generic FPS shooters. So, how does it stack up? Given that my most played shooters on steam are indeed RO1, 2, RS1, 2, Insurgency etc… would HLL make a fine addition to my collection? ![]() Gunplay is mediocre at best compared to these. And have pumped countless hours into Red Orchestra 1, 2, Rising Storm 1, 2, Insurgency ![]()
